Q. What are the POP/IMAP/SMTP settings for e-mail clients? A. Set your POP/IMAP server to email.theaardvark.com. Set your SMTP server to smtp.theaardvark.com. Some ISPs have started blocking outbound mail from any system other than their own. If you can receive mail but cannot send, use our mail servers for your POP/IMAP server, and use your ISPs mail server for your SMTP server--contact your service provider for their SMTP information. For your username, use your entire e-mail address, ie, johnnyp@yourdomain.com. |
|
Q. How do I access my e-mail from a web browser? A. Click on the Webmail icon on the left-hand side of your screen. When asked for a username, put in your entire e-mail address, ie, johnnyp@yourdomain.com. |
|
Q. How do I set up WebMail to keep a copy of all my outgoing mail? A. Log in to WebMail. Add a new folder. You can call the folder anything you want. After you've created a new folder, click on the Options icon, then click on Mailbox Management. In the Sent Folder drop down box, select the folder you just created. Click on Save at the bottom of the window. Now, anytime you send a message using WebMail, a copy will be put in the folder you selected! |

Q. How do I import email accounts in bulk?
A.
If your subscription contains a large number of email accounts, you will
have the ability to import all your email accounts without having to
create them one at a time. To use the import feature, you first need to
create a text file with the following format. The first line of the file
must contain the control fields in the order they are shown below. The
second and subsequent lines of the file must contain your email account
data in the format shown below. Note: there shouldn't be any spaces next
to the commas. |
